Emotions don't render. Evidence does.

"She looks sad" produces nothing usable — models render the physical evidence of emotion, not the emotion. "Her shoulders drop one centimeter. A single tear catches light at the corner of her eye but does not fall" produces cinema. If you cannot name the evidence, the model cannot render the feeling.

Translate every emotion into something visible. The audience reads it back the same way they read an actor.
